Still not quite exactly identical to the now dead Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R., aka “Soviet Union”), liberal-left socialists in Canada are screaming for more cash to enrich their failing social programs in the hope that someday, Canada will in fact be identical to the now failed Soviet Union. Like in a year or two.
Note that Russia, which is ostensibly trying (in some convoluted way, mind you) to be more like the proven success story called “America” than the failed socialist state it was, just yesterday outlawed gay ‘marriage’, reconfirming that marriage is between one man and one woman. So Canada won’t ever be exactly the same. So sad for the liberal-left.
The federal Liberal government is awash in spare cash that should be injected into education, a national child-care program, improved employment insurance benefits, social housing and aboriginal programs, say the social groups that put together an alternative federal budget.
I say no cash should be injected into “education”;
No cash should be injected into a “national child-care program” (except tax relief to all families);
No cash should be injected into “improved employment insurance benefits”;
No cash should be injected into “social housing”;
No cash should be injected into “aboriginal programs”.
In fact all of these programs should be reduced dramatically and some eliminated. Add most of the state-run health care system, state-funded abortions (they all are state-funded), the state run media giant CBC, the CRTC, as well as countless other socialist nanny-state, welfare-state programs which are helping to ruin our nation.
I say give most of the excess taxation (or what they call a “surplus”) back to Canadians who own the money and worked hard for it. It’s their money. And spend a considerable chunk on national security.
