I had a great Monday. After posting my one post, I went to the dentist and got a crown fitted. Not fun. Was frozen for rest of day, feeling lousy. I knew I was also fighting off a cold or flu but on Monday it started winning the battle, and I’ve been sick in bed since then. Temp of 102 at times (lower now, such that I could get out of bed long enough to type this great blog entry), a very painful cough, and so much more fun stuff… a total malfunction at every level, and I’ll spare you the details.
I have a lot of email to go through, I know. Sorry about that. Also the columnists columns have not been posted. It’s an outrage. An outrage I tell you. Over the Easter weekend I’ll get back at it.
P.S. Those expensive cough syrup remedies don’t work. They just don’t. I do like the Halls cough candies though. They make me feel better. I’ve only eaten an apple since Monday (Fuji, very good), some dry-roasted peanuts, and some triple flavor sherbet. Sherbet is the cat’s meow for a sore throat. Aspirin and Ibuprophen every four hours. Current temperature 99.5.
