I do understand that the Internet is a passing fad, and should be over soon, but I keep hearing about this big Conservative Party advertising and PR blitz which apparently includes Internet ads. But I only hear about it from the news media —online, mostly. I’ve never, ever heard from the Conservative Party, ever—no, not on any issue, ever. No, not even to simply inform me of anything, ever. And certainly not to accept their paid Internet advertising. I haven’t even heard from them via Canada Post or by phone. They don’t even tell me where these supposed Internet ads are. (Update/Correction: they constantly badger me through every communication means available, for more of my money).
One online news service report says:
“The Liberals are also expected to launch a counter-attack today to Conservative television, radio and Internet ads that decry the coalition agreement.”
I’ve sometimes heard of their ads, found them, then featured them on this web site. I’m starting to see the folly of that now.
Maybe they’ve never heard of this web site. Maybe they don’t like it and the way it advocates for conservatism and fights the Liberal-Left all day long, every day, and has done for years on end.
I guess they reserve their paid Internet ads for the CBC website and the likes of them. What with all the “culture cuts”, they need the revenue, after all. They need the “sponsorship”, if you will.
