The only thing we ever hear about is how low the Bush approval ratings are. They’re low, for sure—but much higher than the Liberals’ Stephane Dion leadership ratings (a comparison which, by the way, you’ll only see here, because the liberals’ media division is in bed with Dion and Layton and therefore don’t report all the news you need—just that which advances their agenda).
But the Democrats which control Congress in the U.S. are at their lowest approval levels in recent history, and the lowest since the esteemed Rasmussen organization started taking polls, years ago.
Again, you won’t see this discussed in the media.
Congressional Approval Falls to Single Digits for First Time Ever
Tuesday, July 08, 2008
The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category. …
Must be all their great ideas like surrendering in Iraq “immediately” upon their getting elected to Congress, raising taxes “on the rich”, their promise they made two years ago to control gas prices (workin’ out great!), ending the “man-made global warming”, stopping all the rampant corruption amongst those bad Republicans (not Dems!), and so much more. It has nothing to do with doing almost nothing positive since they took over Congress.
