Much was made on CBC Newsworld this morning about Canadian Conservatives not wanting to be caught dead at the McCain speech in Ottawa this morning, with the CBC citing the scientific fact that they wouldn’t want to be associated with Republicans given the lack of love in Canada for President Bush (who, by the by, isn’t running, but that flies over the heads of most liberals…). From my earlier post: CBC reporter Susan Bonner: “…Well they’re quite cautious about even showing up at this speech! The Prime Minister will not be here Nancy—he’s out of town so that, uh, he he didn’t have to deal with that issue…’‘.
But as the camera panned the audience —to feature the CBC’s Don Newman, I’m quite sure— isn’t that Liberal MP Ujjal Dosanjh we spot in the crowd behind his left ear?
Here’s a stock picture of Ujjal for your comparison purposes:
Is Ujjal Dosanjh a Bush-luvin McCain supporter? Must be! In fact all of these people must be!
On the other hand, I thought I spotted Monika Lewinsky in the crowd too…
