Stories are being spun in the liberals’ media that the tape the various left-wing parties are using to supposedly provide “smoking gun” evidence against Prime Minister Harper, has been doctored to cast Harper’s actual remarks in an incorrect context, thus changing the meaning of his own words.
The Conservatives have an affidavit signed by two leading audio experts, which they’ve made public. “The tape has been edited and doctored to misrepresent the event,” Conservative MP James Moore says.
CTV Newsnet, in an apparent attempt at totally obfuscating the matter and marginalizing the deadly serious implications of this, politely advanced (over the banner “TALES OF THE TAPE” rather than “LIBERAL FRAUD POSSIBLE”) the notion that perhaps “the timing” of this revelation is really the main point worth considering, here. The inherent implication contained therein being that that this Conservative assertion could well be total B.S., simply put out by the nefarious scumbag Conservatives, in order to curtail the defence mode they’ve been in with regard to left-wing party obsession with Maxime Bernier’s ex girlfriend and her breasts.
Here’s that part of the exchange between CTV anchor and reporter:
CTV Newsnet anchor Jennifer Ward: Graham are there any questions being raised as to the TIMING of this and perhaps the deflection being uh put out there over to get away from Maxime Bernier?
CTV Reporter Graham Richardson: Oh sure they’ve had a brutal couple of weeks, everyone knows that [Ward interjects with “yes!”] … and uh but …
The intrepid anchor chose that question instead of “Who committed this total fraud against Canadians and moreover the innocent Conservatives, and who on exactly on the left can we start pointing the finger at now, Graham?”
No, rather, we’re left with the stated conclusion, as derived by the CTV information guru Graham Richardson, that the bottom line, if this is indeed true, is simply that the Prime Minister would be somewhat off the hook. There is no suggestion that whoever did this—and chances are it wasn’t a Conservative—allegedly committed an outright fraud, serious obstruction of justice, and probably several other serious legal misdeeds, it seems to me. That point was not even addressed.
So as sane people all know, the real point here isn’t that Harper might not have been the scoundrel the left wing claims he was, since nobody who is sober ever thought that, and by the way the RCMP concluded the same thing just recently. It’s really that somebody from the anti-Harper camp quite possibly committed an egregious fraud and obstruction of justice.
Therefore, now watch the liberals and their media drop the case completely.
