The anchor on the current shift of boring, endless news headline regurgitation at CTV Newsnet was chit-chatting with the Business News Network guy. He was explaining a Nortel and Motorola merger of sorts. He said they are trying to get some profitability.
Anchor Jacqueline Milczarek replied: “Profits are always good.”
Mark Bunting: “Exactly—that’s a good thing.”
Well you can imagine my surprise.
Apparently not abiding by the liberal media guidebook. They’re not allowed to say profits are a good thing now, are they? And “Always” good? Sheesh. Right-wing capitalist nutbars.
