Although I wish I’d also made up an award called the “PTBC Secular-Progressive, Liberal-left, Useful Idiot, Moonbat Award” (in fact I will as soon as I’m done here because there’s such a demand for it), this week’s winner is a no-brainer—much like the cranial capacity of the so-called “teachers” to whom the award is presented.
I wrote about it in a NewsQuip this morning, so I’ll just repeat it here:
“Ring-a-ling, hear them sing; Soon it will be festive day” Militantly atheist or secular-progressive big-union teachers are forcing what I see as their religion of intolerance and their anti-Christian beliefs (and changing facts to suit their world view!) on second and third grade students in Ontario. A news report says: The teachers leading the Elmdale Public School choir … have dropped the word Christmas from Silver Bells and replaced it with the word “festive.” So, when the choir performs the song tomorrow at a singalong assembly, instead of singing the line “soon it will be Christmas day” they will say “soon it will be a festive day.”
Of course Canadians are suckups and mind-numbingly stupid and complacent — no wait: compliant! — on this front: Although a parent said the altering of the lyric was troubling, Ms. Clark has decided not to pull her daughter out of the concert. “My daughter loves the choir,” she said. … In actual fact, mom should be leading a massive counter protest and suing the ass off the teachers and their union and school board to boot, then taking out ads and starting a blog. But no. The Fabian socialism is working. Do not fight it. Resistance is futile. Vote liberal. … Their address and phone number is: Elmdale Public School, 49 Iona St., Ottawa, Ontario, K1Y 3L9 Phone (613) 728-4653 or Fax (613) 728-2301 … And by they way, they’re no longer called “teachers”; they’re called Clergymen of the Church of Liberalism. … One more useful tidbit: here’s a link to private schools in Ontario.
UPDATE:
Here’s the newly designed award, made especially for the teachers such as those above, and their tribe. Congrats, moonbats. And merry Christmas.
