Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin and the Liberals kept warning about a “hidden agenda” of the Conservative Party during the election of 2004, but apparently no expensive, official inquiry will need to be held to discover just what, exactly, was or is still being “hidden” by the Conservatives.
This is in contrast to the Liberal Party, for which a huge, historic, full-out official legal inquiry lasting up to a full year will start on Tuesday, September 7, 2004. The idea is to get somewhere near the bottom of the ugly, complicated, well-planned, secret, hidden, buried, covered-up, conspiratorial, nefarious and probably criminal activities of the Liberal Party under Liberal John Chretien and under (then) Finance Minister Paul Martin and their “Team Liberal” using our tax dollars, in recent years gone by.
The RCMP is also investigating over a dozen cases of related Liberal Party wrong-doings currently. Two Liberals have already been criminally charged. I imagine more Liberals will be criminally charged.
Strangely, no RCMP investigations are even taking place among the Conservative Party, since apparently there is no suspicion among the RCMP that the Conservatives had participated in any criminal activity at all whatsoever, hidden or not, nor that they had any hidden agenda to do so into the future, especially in the way that they suspect the Liberal Party, for example, had before the Auditor General called them on it and blew their cover earlier this year.
The investigation into the Sponsor-Gate, or Ad-Scam—or what I’d like to call Paul Martin-Hidden-Corruption-Ad-Scam-Designed-To-Keep-Liberals-In-Power-Ad-Infinitum-Scandal-Gate—which the Liberals got themselves involved in as the honest politicians that they are, without any hidden agendas, will take place in open public hearings starting Tuesday under Justice John Gomery, whom Paul Martin appointed in much the same way that Liberals have appointed liberals to every post, board, committee, panel, and office in the land, oh and also the Supreme Court, and the Senate, and even up to and including the de facto head of the nation of Canada, the (state-run) CBC’s own Adrienne Clarkson, who used to be a news reporter and is now the Governor General— a natural next step for a Liberal in Canada.
The first witness will be Sheila Fraser, Canada’s heroic Auditor general, who exposed the scandal last February and forced Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin to call the inquiry. Coincidentally he managed to call an election before it got under way. Lucky for Martin that Canada is the land of the naif.
Sheila Fraser and members of her heroic staff are expected to testify for about three days. Listen carefully for historic references describing the honesty and integrity of the Liberal Party government of your Canada. For example, this quote which she uttered when uncovering the corruption, which apparently helped get the honest Liberals with no hidden agenda re-elected:
“This is such a blatant misuse of public funds. It is shocking…Words escape me.”
You see it was blatant—not hidden so much. That’s the genius of the Liberals—screw the country in broad daylight, and let the liberal media manage the crisis for you, as they have done so effectively thus far. But what worries me is that any more such talk like that out of Sheila Fraser during her testimony and the Liberals will get in again!
For amusement during dull times, try to remember the hilarity of the fact that most people (coincidentally none of them Conservative) voted for these people, the Liberals, a government currently under criminal investigation for having been involved in the biggest political corruption scandal in the history of Canada. The truly adventurous can participate in a game of: take a sip of good pure Russian Vodka every time you hear the word “Liberal” during the Liberal corruption hearings. For you liberal-left voters out there who didn’t vote Conservative, and you know who you are because the media keeps defining you, games such as this will make all this much easier to tolerate. Well that and plugging your ears entirely, you know, like you liberals do whenever Liberal ignoramus Carolyn Parrish opens her mouth.
Judge Gomery has wide-ranging subpoena powers to force the appearance of witnesses and the production of documents, so we should expect a thorough investigation despite it being conducted by a Paul Martin appointee, and being paid for by the Liberal government. At least we hope it’s being paid for by the Liberal government and only the Liberal government—i.e., not a political party. Those Liberals seem to have a way of spreading the wealth! That’s how this all started! Ahahahahaaa, silly Liberals bathing in our tax dollars.
I wonder if the state-run media which is stacked from top to bottom with Liberals and liberals will report it fairly. Or the Canwest Global network of newspapers and TV stations which is run by a family with historic Liberal Party ties. Or the Bell Globe Media empire which is similarly run by liberal apologists. Oh well, at least the state censors at the CRTC won’t shut them down, because the CRTC is stacked from top to bottom with Liberal appointees, and Liberals are clearly honest and fair, and they launder everything so they’re fresh-smelling too!
The commission will have professional lawyers questioning the witnesses, and staff will pore over the complex paper trail. Only the Liberal Party knows all the answers in advance, of course, yet this inquiry is still needed because the Liberals apparently have allegedly been engaged in some sort of a “hidden agenda”, and have kept it all under wraps so far. Sneaky monkeys. Weird how they keep saying the Conservatives have a hidden agenda and yet it is them who are under police and judicial investigation.
Gomery, an old Quebec Superior Court judge, will spend the next four months hearing oral testimony in Ottawa. (Oh that reminds me, the Supreme Court of Canada, at which Liberal Paul Martin recently appointed two new judges known for being gay-marriage-supporters, will be sending their deliberations regarding gay marriage to Parliament in the Fall. Hope that doesn’t cause a public distraction!) Anyway, more oral testimony will take place in Montreal after that. Then it’s lawyers only, where they’ll really hash it out. (Oh that reminds me—Paul Martin promised to reduce the penalty for pot-smoking. That might happen somewhere in there too even though it might be really distracting!)
My my. What with all the corruption investigations, gay marriages, pot-smoking, 100,000 (plus) annual abortions, health care ironically mortally sick, cities falling apart, our national defense and security being a global laugh-riot, citizens growing a loser attitude, the nanny-state creating an increasingly reliant citizenry, and the nation solidly in disunity-mode, Canada as a nation is sure vote Liberal next time too.
See, the Conservative’s strategy moving forward should be to be the opposite of what they are.
