The latest poll conducted by the amazingly accurate SES Research firm, suggests that most Canadians, despite the liberal media working steadfastly against him in concert with their brothers in the liberal clergy (the teachers in the schools and colleges) and all the tough decisions that have been made and will need to be made in the years ahead, would be comfortable with a Stephen Harper-led Conservative Party government.
Liberals are against that. Well actually hang on a second. About 40% of them would be comfortable with that, too. And that’s just good fun.
Decided Canadian Voters (N=1003, MoE ± 3.1%, 19 times out of 20)
Question: As you may know, the Conservative Party led by Stephen Harper is a minority government. Based on what you know and have seen about Stephen Harper and the Conservative government record so far, would you be comfortable, somewhat comfortable, somewhat uncomfortable or uncomfortable with the Stephen Harper-led Conservatives potentially winning the next election and forming a majority government?
Comfortable (33%) – (19% of Liberals are comfortable)
Somewhat comfortable (19%) – (21% of Liberals are somewhat comfortable)
Somewhat uncomfortable (16%)
Uncomfortable (29%) – (50% of New Democrats are uncomfortable)
Unsure (4%)
Another question’s answers suggested that 57% of Canadians agree that the Harper Conservative government has met or exceeded expectations.
