The meeting between President Bush and Prime Minister Harper in Washington today is hard enough for the Canadian liberal media to cover without them being exposed as the irreverent louts that they are.
During the news briefing though, taking place as I write, Prime Minister Harper said right at the top of his remarks to the media that he just saw something he thought he’d never see. The Canadian media that was tagging along having to stand as he entered the press hall with the President.
Imagine the Canadian media showing respect for Prime Minister Harper in Canada and standing as he entered the room. Maybe even taking off their ball caps and spitting out their chewing gum.
OK that was fun.
