Let’s remember this Vancouver Sun (Canwest/Global) front page as the details of this unfold.
The second-to-last paragraph in the delightfully anti-Conservative Canada Day article is this:
It would appear from the Donison news release, noted above, that Liberals may also have been indulging in similar activity at the expense of taxpayers.
Apparently the socialists in the NDP, who as we know are against doing things at the expense of the taxpayer, did not indulge in these things, or at least they weren’t investigated by the squad of crack media investigators (Barbara Yaffe wrote this piece) because they couldn’t bring themselves to believe that they could have been doing this too. In any case, it wasn’t worth mentioning.
Only the Conservatives were worthy of a front page headline the size of a football field, because they are, as we’ve all become accustomed, held to a different, higher standard than the other parties.
The liberals’ Globe and Mail (Bell Globemedia) chose to celebrate Canada Day instead of their rabid anti-Conservative bias, as did the National Post (Canwest/Global). Even the far-left Toronto Star (TorStar) did.
Good on ‘em all.
My favorite today was the good Toronto Sun (of Sun Media), which frequently has positive editorials about the Conservative Party. I liked the picture of the pretty pretty um flag.
