Since the state-run CBC has referred to the war on terror as “the ‘so-called’ war on terror”, and since hearing this morning from one of the defence lawyers that at least one of the Canadian terrorist suspects was planning on “storming the CBC”, and taking it over (yes I’ve already questioned if that hadn’t already taken place—beat ya to it), I wonder how the CBC would cover it.
Would they insist on calling it a “so-called” storming, even as their state-owned cameras were rolling?
Would they exercise some of their pacifist moonbatistry and embark on a program of having a damn fine cup o’ tea and a nice bun with the “so-called” terrorists?
And then after military troops saved them with their guns, would the state-run media then show the event on an upcoming “Passionate Eye” or “Au Currant”?
Food for thought.
Oh yes and once again I get to invoke the memory of Comical Ali.
