Another few days off, then I’m going to spend most of my life in the cave I call my office until the election is over. My wife and I are going to a little resort, courtesy of our niece who bought the package for us. Yes, good people really do still exist, which is especially important after hearing about the shooting in Texas over the weekend.
Here’s a little perspective, which is another important thing, especially for alarmist liberals whose first reflex is to demand an even bigger ban on guns and even harsher laws against shooting guns at people, and more strict rules against murder by deranged people; and they demand that the government in any case take all the guns away from all the good people too.

Diabetes: 228
Flu: 150

In a different case of nutbarism, a Florida woman, possibly inspired by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her oft-repeated hatred of border security laws and her vile villainization of the very good people who uphold those laws (by “throwing innocent immigrant families” into Nazi-style “concentration camps…”), threw a lit Molotov cocktail into U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office, hoping to burn dozens of innocent people to death.
It’s not the first time, at all. It’s actually becoming a thing amongst the sickest left-wingers.
“Today’s attempted attack on one of our USCIS facilities using a Molotov cocktail is another example of the use of violence in place of debate by those who oppose the proper application of our immigration laws,” tweeted Acting Director Ken Cuccinelli.
But here’s a question: did you know this happened? Did you see any item in the Globe and Mail? Did you hear of this from the state-owned CBC “news” channel — or were they still obsessed with their promotion of abortion by repeatedly, over and over, questioning the already well-known stance of Andrew Scheer and Conservatives who, they would have you believe, have a “hidden agenda” (much like “TRUMPRUSSIA!” only it’s “ANTI ABORTION!!!”) — a hidden plot which apparently hides (or doessss it?!) their most assuredly evil desire to, among other evil not-progressive things, ban abortions, and throw all gay people off of high buildings? (If I hear CBC anchors like Andrew Nichols seemingly warn Canadians of Scheer’s Catholicism one more time, and continue to engage in what could only be described as an ardent anti-Conservative propaganda regimen, I’m going to start watching Fox News Channel even more than I already do and get even better informed. And vote even harder.)
And, as if we have to ask, can you just imagine the enormous coverage, the outrage, the repeated questioning, the demand for apologies and statements, if it were some “conservative” or “right-wing” “white” “male” (they’d use all those descriptors multiple times) who threw a molotov cocktail inside a government welfare office or the CBC in an effort to burn government employees to death? (See, the story would deserve enormous coverage, the outrage, the repeated questioning, the demand for apologies and statements… get the point?)
But these are just some of the things I won’t be pondering this week. Cheers.
