Bernie Sanders docs found, show 1980s communist ties. A true NDP “inspiration!”

Bernie Sanders has not been very transparent, buttoning his lip on a key part of his history, his philosophy. And well done media, for helping Bernie hide this.

When an article opens with,

Bernie Sanders campaigned for the Socialist Workers Party in the 1980 and 1984 presidential campaigns and was investigated by the FBI for his ties to the Marxist group.
 — Washington Examiner

…It makes you wonder why none of the mainstream media are at least concerned enough that they would ever ASK him about his past, or based on that his future intentions, or as they do in Canada’s smug media, openly pontificate and “report” to us that “some people” or “many Canadians being concerned about” a “Conservative hidden agenda.” Like they did Stephen Harper, a plain conservative who never campaigned for any Marxists.

In Sanders’ case, I would highly suspect him of — if not harboring communist sympathies and a desire implement communist ideas on America over time — then outright being a closet communist, and therefore a danger to the country. A wolf in sheep’s clothing, like a true Fabian Socialist.

It’s one thing to change your political position on certain things. Most people do, and often it’s good. Like when a Liberal woman finally figures it out and votes for Conservatives. But I don’t think you go from being a communist, to suddenly loving the free market and freedom and democracy. No, once you’re a communist and you’ve campaigned for communists, you’ve lost your trust card. If you robbed a bank, even if you’re swell now, you can’t get my vote. Bernie Sanders cannot be trusted.

You don’t go from this paragraph:

In 1980, Sanders “proudly endorsed and supported” Andrew Pulley, the party’s presidential candidate, who once said that American soldiers should “take up their guns and shoot their officers.” Sanders was one of three electors for Pulley on the Vermont ballot, stating in a press release: “I fully support the SWP’s continued defense of the Cuban revolution.”

…to being Commander In Chief of all of America’s armed forces, or anything resembling a paragraph about a United States presidential run.

Mainstream journalists don’t seem to see communism as a threat to America or Canada, or they’d be all over this like Russian collusion. They should openly pontificate about it like we know they can, so we know for sure where they stand. The way we do with their stand on conservatives. Maybe they’re yella. Maybe they’re red.

Canadian journalists missed this because they’re too busy hacking conservatives every day:

A 50th anniversary issue of the publication in 1979 features contributors celebrating the paper’s “tradition of revolutionary Marxism in the United States.”  One contributor from the Canadian Revolutionary Workers League wrote, “The Militant for five decades has been an inspiration and an example to revolutionary socialists the world over.”

As another inspirational example, ask the NDP’s Niki Ashton, who endorsed Sanders before running for leadership of the NDP on a platform of nationalizing banks, the pharmaceutical industry, and the energy industry, just for starters.

The NDP loves them some Bernie. They’re all wolves in sheep’s clothing.
