I’ve often said that the liberal-left so utterly disrespect Canadians that:
(a) they think Canadians are so stupid and useless that we must be totally reliant upon the benevolent government for all manner of supports, loan guarantees, social programs to meet every single so-called “need” (which they invent daily), and then the promise of more and more and more yummy government entitlements because we can’t live without ‘em, and
(b) only them—governments—can decide (for example) what we should watch on TV and what we can listen to on the radio, what our “values” are and what our “culture” should be, and
(c) they steadfastly refuse to allow an honest debate on such things as healthcare, claiming in this case, as if we’re all complete idiots, that unless we maintain their brain-dead, decrepit, socialist, ideologically deranged North Korean-style healthcare system, we automatically turn upside down in this country and our system becomes what they describe as a horrible, evil, “American style healthcare system”.
Even the so-called “honorable” minister of North Korean-style healthcare, Ujjal Dosanjh, who sounds very much like a communist to me, tells this lie over and over and over again—like we’re all mentally retarded minions who will believe if we hear it often enough.
They refuse to even allow honest discussion of private enterprise in healthcare —not because they fear it won’t work, but rather because they fear it will work —thereby destroying the very foundation of their being. Their entire raison d’Ã
