Doug Giles is not subtle. And that’s what we need here in Canada so badly—not just for the benefit of liberals but yes, for conservatives too—especially Canadian conservatives.
The name Doug Giles is not unfamiliar with readers here since I point to his column on occasion—just yesterday for example! He is a well-known conservative commentator south of the border and has broad appeal among both young and old. We intend to make him as popular north of the 49th but I don’t think we’ll have to try very hard. Canadians needs Doug Giles— they just never knew it.
I’ll borrow his intro from ClashRadio.com:
Doug Giles is the creator and host of “The Clash” radio shows, winners of seven Silver Microphone Awards and two Communicator Awards in the last three years. Guests on his weekly one-hour show have included Ann Coulter, Ted Nugent, Cal Thomas, David Limbaugh, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Mona Charen, Michelle Malkin and Brian Kilmeade.
In addition, Doug is a popular columnist, theologian, and award-winning writer. His popular column, “ClashPoint,” is read worldwide each week on Townhall.com, which has 3-5 million readers per month.
Subsequently, his articles have been taken up by several other print and online news sources, including The Washington Times, and he is an irregular guest on television news programs including Anderson Cooper’s 360 and syndicated talk radio shows such as The Dennis Prager Show.
His latest column is already posted in the Columnist section. We’ve had one of his books listed in our Reading Right list and his radio show on our Listen Live list for some time.
