She supports all the normal liberal initiatives: gay marriage, taxpayer-funded abortion without any limits, Kyoto, the socialist state-run liberal indictrination and daycare program, pot-smoking, and the NDP budget too.
Plus, I’ve been saying since she ran for the leadership that she was…… a liberal!
She joined Paul Martin in a press conference. She got a cabinet position. Nice payoff!
The Liberal candidate in Stronach’s riding has already “agreed” to step aside.
I imagine there’s at least a possibility that Belinda Stronach and the liberals had this all planned out years ago. Stronach is and always was a big and small “L” liberal. She tried to drag the Conservatives to the left and succeeded, then at the exact right moment—made a big spiel and switched sides, live on liberal*vision. Then she immediately proceeded to dismiss and insult Conservatives as being out of touch. That’s Liberal Party politics for you. It’s about the power.
WILL PETER MACKAY BE NEXT? I expect he will. He should! In fact, half of the Conservative Party should join the Liberal Party.
