According to the lefty bird cage liner the Toronto Star, Conservative Party leaderish guy Stephen Harper said yesterday that the corruption scandal inquiry is full of lying liberals; but when Harper was pressed by the crack Star reporter, when it comes to liberal Team God (Chretien/Martin), they’re a couple of non-truth-telling-unthruthers.

Tory leader says lawsuit premature move by MartinGovernment seeks to recover some sponsorship funds
OTTAWA—Conservative Leader Stephen Harper yesterday belittled the federal government’s attempts to clean up the sponsorship scandal, saying most of the Liberal politicians and Liberal-connected ad executives testifying at the Gomery hearings are lying.
He also said Ottawa’s latest legal action — a lawsuit aimed at recovering $40.7 million in sponsorship money — is a premature move intended by Prime Minister Paul Martin to deflect attention from the damaging information coming out of the inquiry in Montreal.
Most of the 67 witnesses heard so far by Justice John Gomery have failed to tell the truth to the commissioner about the operation of the now-defunct $250-million program, Harper told reporters outside the Commons. “What can also be concluded is that virtually everyone there is lying and not telling us what they know,” he said.
