The Montreal Gazette also took a small hop on to the Climategate bandwagon.
After an eight day silence they finally reported the story in Saturday’s edition.
But just so you wouldn’t get the wrong idea, they ran three other stories on the same page.
One about the Arctic ice meltdown still being a severe problem; another about criticism of Canada’s foot dragging by the head of the UN; and a third about all those nasty toxins in the oilsands water.
Now if only we could get the Gazette to report on the scandals at ACORN…..something else they’ve managed to completely ignore for months on end.

You’re right. I looked. Rather than reporting the story as they should, with all the shrill journalistic alarm bells that they normally ring when reporting on the news items that advance their agenda (like “man-made global warming” or “A Christian said the word ‘damn’”), they clearly BURIED the story as best they possibly could. When I looked at it to verify what you said, I literally laughed out loud. Anyone with the intellect above that of a pea can see they are perfidious. It’s actually hideous journalism.
But on the plus side, it helps expose them for their role in the whole “man-made global warming” farce, and thereby helps us expose them as the farce they have themselves become.
They could just as easily have filled their pages with news of the building glacial ice in Antarctica, the increasing numbers of polar bears in the Arctic, the fact that temperatures have actually gone down in the past several years and haven’t risen in the last decade, stories on the the huge increase in the acreage of forests in North America over the past few decades, the fact that *actual* pollution and smog and poisons in the atmosphere have decreased over the decades and that our air is cleaner now than it has been in a generation or more, or any number of other such enviro-news stories. But they chose instead those you mentioned in a clear attempt to distract from the real, big story of the historic farce.
EXTRA, EXTRA!
The excellent Media Research Center reports today: Nets Ignore Climategate: While Fox News Channel and CNN Report, CNN Dismisses Relevance. And on it goes. The liberal media, which holds itself out to be absolutely fair and balanced and objective and as honest purveyors of fact, is pushing an agenda. Spinning and obfuscating the very truth they pretend to hold as inviolable, to present the news so that you see it their twisted, tendentious way. That’s a scandal in and of itself. Who will begin to report on this scandal — because I want to invest in that media company and be able to retire early.
