The eight Democratic Party candidates for President assembled last night in Orangeburg, South Carolina, for a debate (actually, at more than a year and a half before the next election, it was really a Democratic news conference and public relations exercise, hosted by their pal, liberal-left softball-lobbing news anchor Brian Williams of the increasingly left-wing NBC news, not a debate—that’s exactly the purpose they set out to achieve here).
They didn’t arrive by donkey. Or horsey. Or bicycle. Or even huddled together in a fleet of Honda Civics. They all arrived in separate private chartered jets.
But this was important. So it’s OK. Cough.
Its hard being liberal.
