The CDC just announced that masking is no longer required in the parts of the country where the Wuhan Virus (they call it “COVID-19” for some reason having nothing to do with appeasing the Chinese Communist Party) case numbers are low.
So here’s how two giant “news” media organizations proceeded to explain it, just now:
…Which means 70% of Americans can toss that ugly face diaper. Right? Not so fast! CBS “News” says only 30% of the population can go diaper free.
They can’t figger out which is the 70 and which is the 30. Crickey it’s math and math is hard plus it’s racist. Somebody here is drunk or on the pot. Maybe both of them.
For the truth, we turn to independent media. National Review reporters, whom I’m led to believe enjoy a good cocktail as much as me or the next guy, writes it up clearly:
The CDC released updated guidance Friday that says that most U.S. counties do not qualify as “at-risk” areas for Covid-19 transmission and therefore can drop their mask requirements.
Only 28 percent of people in the United States still live in at-risk regions where masking is urged in indoor settings. It’s not necessary for the rest of the over 70 percent of U.S. residents to wear masks, according to the new data. …
That puts the AP in a better position, information-wise. And mathematically, out of the two, 70% got it wrong. Right CBS “News?”
Seriously (not really really seriously), this puts CBS “News” on the big evil misinformation heap, meaning they will now be banned and canceled by all progressives, governments, tech companies who run the social media and search engines for progressives, woke employers, Justin Trudeau’s social media censors and Canadian banks, and of course by the other “News” media. Right?
