Our survey completed October 17th shows that at the time of the poll, the Ontario Liberals and Progressive Conservatives are statistically tied at 38% and 37% respectively. Another one in five decided voters in Ontario (20%) would vote for the provincial NDP, followed by the Green Party at 5%.
When asked which party leader would make the best premier twenty six percent were unsure who would make the best premier. Twenty five percent identified John Tory as best premier, followed by Dalton McGuinty (16%), Howard Hampton (15%) and Frank de Jong (3%). Ten percent of Ontarians said none of the leaders would make the best premier.
