State-run CBC secures juicy quote from worst president in U.S. history

Of course the CBC didn’t categorize the nut. Farmer. That way.  They gleefully referred to Jimmy Carter as a “statesman”, immediately after reporting that he thought Canada was committing a “crime”, “literally”.

I recall the CBC being part of Canada once, and “in favor” of it.

Of course this is the bunch that routinely dismisses President Bush and casts him (as I see it) as a raving lunatic and nutbar who caused the global war on terror (or what they refer to as “the so-called war on terror”).  I’ve never heard them refer to President Bush as a statesman.

Former liberal Democratic President Jimmy Carter (better known, at least to me, as Jimmy “I never met a terrorist or anti-Israel or anti-American or socialist nutbar I didn’t love” Carter, and also as “the worst President in U.S. history”) thinks Canada has committed a crime (“literally”!) by not financially supporting a terrorist-appeasing and supporting organization (Hamas, which is officially recognized as a terrorist organization) —which refuses to recognise Israel’s right to exist, and which (literally!) seeks to destroy all Jews and wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.

Jimmy Carter is a “statesman” in much the same way a peanut is a statesman.

This “criminal” allegation was dug up by the intrepid state-employed reporters at Canada’s state-run media who had an “exclusive” with the Liberal ex-President nut farmer “statesman” who just called our great nation a criminal nation.

Canada’s withholding funds from Palestinians ‘criminal’: Carter

Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter says the decision by Canada and other nations to withhold money from the Hamas-led Palestinian government is “a crime.”

Israel and western donors such as Canada have demanded Hamas renounce violence, recognize Israel’s right to exist and accept past peace agreements. Hamas, which is committed to Israel’s destruction despite its stated offer of a long-term truce, rejects the conditions.

“It’s a crime against the people of Palestine,” Carter told CBC News in an exclusive interview from New York.

“For Canada and others to punish the Palestinian people because they voted for their candidates of choice, I think is literally a crime.”

The statesman and prolific author…

(…let me finish that sentence my way instead of the CBC way) …and obvious wingnut who just accused our country of being a criminal organization—unlike Hamas which he did not accuse of being anything except of being a victim… of coure, we didn’t actually, you know, “ask” him or, like, “call him on it”, choosing instead to just let it ride…

Maybe Jimmy Carter should call the RCMP or Kofi Annan or someone and report this “crime”.  Right after he takes his head out of his backside.

Of course the CBC would, I’m sure, do their diplomatic duty and supply him with the RCMP’s number in order that he might report this crime in order to drum-up some more “news”.
