When they were slobbering over and cheerleading for apolitically analyzing and properly objectively discussing President Obama’s big economic speech in February, the CBC put up their “MESSAGE OF HOPE” banner, complete with their ubiquitous li’l Obama icon of an onward and upward looking Obama in the lower left.
But today on the occasion of Prime Minister Harper’s economic speech, it’s merely “HARPER’S SPEECH”. And they have no onward and upward-looking Harper icon for the lower left, just their ever so cheery downward-pointing graph of the economy.
For their part, CTV Newsnet allowed today that “HARPER OFFERS ASSURANCE AND OPTIMISM”
