Last week, amidst the news that the latest federal budget included cuts to the left-wing state-owned media, the CBC began bemoaning the various cuts it would have to make. I relished it.
I had fun with it. I went on a bit of a Twitter rampage, including one that said “CBC to close Madagascar bureau citing lack of stories over past 39 years. #cbccuts #cdnpoli.” (see below)

So imagine my giggles when CBC just posted this Tweet: “CBC to cancel ‘Connect with Mark Kelley,’ ‘Dispatches’ . Will also close foreign bureaus in Brazil, Kenya. #CBC” (see below)
