The horrid überliberal “woman” who stomped on a George W. Bush doll with her size-13 leather boot, then repeatedly jammed a pencil into the Bush doll’s left eye like some kind of a crazed, well, liberal on a TV show (on the state-owned, taxpayer-funded CBC division of the Liberal Party of course!) is reportedly being welcomed back into the Liberal Party again. This—her behavior and attitude—is the kind of thing liberals favor.
Oh and also calling Americans “bastards”, and “idiots”. That’s Carolyn Parrish. That’s liberals.
Parrish, Liberals may kiss and make up
Globe and Mail
Carolyn Parrish, the former Liberal MP who stomped on a doll bearing the likeness of U.S. President George W. Bush and was kicked out of caucus for her anti-American statements, is negotiating with senior officials in the Prime Minister’s Office and the party to return to the Liberal fold.
“I am having discussions with some members of the party, but a lot of my colleagues want me back,” she said in an interview yesterday.
The outspoken member of Parliament for Mississauga, Ont., said she will make up her mind by the new year.
“My decision is going to have more to do with how comfortable I feel and how comfortable they feel with us rejoining forces,” she said.
Ms. Parrish, who was first elected in 1993, was thrown out of the Liberal caucus last year after a series of statements in which she referred to the Bush administration as “bastards” and “idiots.”
“I do not inspire tepid responses in people,” the 59-year-old MP said, noting that people either love her or hate her.
Let’s take a moment and contemplate the quality of the people who (quote) “love her”.
UPDATE 9:50 AM PDT:
Both the Globe and Mail and CTV online are liberal and liberals rewrite history when they don’t like what actually happened. Both reported that she was kicked out of caucus for “…her anti-American statements” (says the CTV, falsely), and “was kicked out of caucus for her anti-American statements” (in the Globe and Mail, falsely). Both completely untrue.
She was kicked out of caucus for this (my screen captures from when the news actually happened):
and this:
She was kicked out of caucus only after insulting and embarrassing the Liberal Party and its leadership—not after insulting the President of the United States and all Americans.
