Canadian Conservative Party boosts poll lead amidst abortion talk from progressives, socialists…

Canadian Liberals and the other socialists have been raising free, taxpayer-funded abortions, not just domestically but all over the world (ALL paid for by Canadian taxpayers — weird “values”, “eh”?!) as their hopeful support-building and nation-dividing platform… and they lose popularity.  That’s the math.  Or as anti-conservative author Marci McDonald might say, derisively of course, “The Conservatives have interest groups!  ARMAGEDDON!”

Manifestly, their interest group is a plurality of the whole country.  And the Conservatives keep rising in popularity.  This week they’re nearly a full percentage point higher than last week — abortion and Marci McDonald week — and are now a good ten points ahead of the failing Liberals with all their idiotic but what they were ever so hopeful was support-building abortion-promoting talk; and the Conservatives’ refusal to commit Canadian taxpayer funding to foreign abortions.

Speak like a conservative: win elections.  How many times do I…..

And this is all according to the dreadful left-wing state media — the CBC — that far-left and arguably anti-conservative news mediaCBC reports the bad newsand their official weekly pollster: the friend, adviser, and cash-donator to the Liberal Party, Frank Graves and his EKOS polling firm

He’s the one who, in light of lousy poll results for Liberals, was reported to have counseled the Liberals to engage in a “culture war” with the Conservatives.  Pit Canadian against Canadian!  Invoke Sarah Palin! (negatively of course, revealing just what a genius he is in light of Palin’s latest massive political victory in the primaries down south).  He is reported in the Globe and Mail as saying,

“I told them [the Liberals] that they should invoke a culture war. Cosmopolitanism versus parochialism, secularism versus moralism, Obama versus Palin, tolerance versus racism and homophobia, democracy versus autocracy. If the cranky old men in Alberta don’t like it, too bad. Go south and vote for Palin.”
—Frank Graves, President EKOS Research
…who does polling for the CBC.  Hello!

His poll results are presented on the liberals’ state media web site, and, as you can see above left, reported ever so happily by political reporters on their state news channel division.  Snarf.  And if you liberals don’t like them, too bad. The CBC is your baby.  ABORT!  I’ll be right here with you.

Also notable in the liberals’ grave, Graves poll —especially for our American friends, where the situation is completely opposite — the clear majority in this country (51.1%) believe we’re moving “in the right direction”.  In the U.S., only 31% think the country is heading in the right direction.  But that figure is skewed by Democrats who, at 55%, cling to the false and clearly ideologically-based belief that it is actually heading in the right direction.  (But at least they were wearing a condom).  For example, 73% of non-affiliated voters feel that it is heading in the wrong direction.  Here in Canada, even 50.8 per cent of LIBERALS believe the country is heading in the right direction.  That’s rich, politically.  I told you the Conservatives weren’t being conservative enough!  Here’s some more free advise:  BE conservative.  Speak in bold colors, conservatives — not pale pastels (with a hat tip to the great Ronald Reagan — by which I mean you could actually mention him, a lot): Win even MORE popularity.

The state-owned CBC “paid for” this weekly poll… with your tax dollars.  Please see our ProudToBeCanadian CBC Taxpayer Waste-o-Meter HERE.  For their part, and at this rate, I imagine the CBC may finally find a “cut-back” they like —their own polling.
