I try to point this out every time I notice it because it makes me laugh when I see it.
How come the CBC doesn’t refer to itself as “state television”, the way they do when they refer to socialist/communist nations’ state television? For that matter how come no other news media in Canada or the U.S. refers to the state-owned, socialism-reliant CBC as “state television”?
Greece might consider abandoning “state television” and unleash the genius of free enterprise, thereby helping reduce the debt —and fostering freedom as a sort of two-fer bonus. Canada might consider doing the same.
