They say it like it’s a bad thing!
Which is funny, because it’s a great thing. And funnier, because the accompanying article is really about California’s Prop 23 being voted on today — an initiative to quash that state’s huge, multi-hundred-billion-dollar, and totally specious, “man-made global warming” government program, in which it was promised that if government controlled everything, they would “create” countless millions of “green jobs”.
For those of you playing at home, a “green job” is a “shovel ready” job (—wink!) wherein the poor schlub holding the shovel is planting a tree in a parking lot, after having been driven there in a huge state-owned diesel truck, and following which the Governor and several state senators plus SENATOR Barbara Boxer fly there in a G-5 government jet for a huge photo-op. The schlub’s job cost taxpayers approximately $368,000. That’s a government-created “green job”. Both in California and in Canada.
You see it’s funny because this is EXACTLY what American voters are voting against today. It is the tea party incarnate. It’s funny because liberals and their liberal media still don’t get it.
But let the record show that by depicting President Obama on their front page, they acknowledge that this election is indeed about Obama and the fallacious, deceptive left-wing politics he and they tried to foist upon the electorate; and not, as the liberal media is trying so hard to advance, the notion that the left’s losses are merely about “tossing out incumbents.” Somebody should correct them at least once on that lie which you’ll hear over and over tonight.
