The other day, when the markets rose more in one day than at any time in the past five years—the liberal media utterly ignored it. I blogged about it.
Today, when the TSX fell—by a lesser amount —(and the New York market actually rose)—they assumed the position.
CTV Newsnet today was apoplectic. Apparently. they don’t have a word or expression to express “huge historic monumental rise in markets to record highs year after year”. But they have tons of yummy words and banners for “market went down”.

I loved the CBC.ca web site today. As the state-run, state-funded, socialism-reliant champions of free-market negativity and doom and gloom, they started out with a headline reading “TSX slumps as market gloom deepens” for their quasi “sell” signal.

Then after the fallout—in which it actually fell less (300 points) than the huge one-day rise last week (339 points), which they completely ignored, and with the New York market up today, they changed their top story to this:

The Globe and Mail wasted no time this morning in sounding their sell signal, even while as I mentioned last week, I could find no story at their site about the biggest one-day rise in five years.
